ROFA has received the label "We are in."

Rofa Bekleidungswerk GmbH & Co. KG has received the "We're in." label from the Lower Saxony Alliance for Sustainability. The label recognizes special commitment to corporate sustainability. The award was presented on June 9, 2021 by Mrs. Hünefeld-Linkermann, IHK Osnabrück - Emsland - Grafschaft Bentheim, on the premises of ROFA.

On the company premises in Schüttorf, Mrs. Juliane Hünefeld-Linkermann, project manager of the IHK Osnabrück - Emsland - Grafschaft Bentheim, was impressed by ROFA's exemplary function with regard to ecological, social and economic measures. She congratulated Henning Rost, responsible for CSR at ROFA, at the handover and was pleased about the successful participation, also as a figurehead for the region. The increasing importance of sustainable management in Germany as a production location is an important aspect for the future and the quality standards for the local companies. After the handover, Mrs. Hünefeld-Linkermann was given a guided tour of the company, during which she was shown the path from thread to finished fabric.

Ecological responsibility, social commitment and sustainable, economic action are integral parts of the corporate philosophy. ROFA is particularly important in this context, in addition to the certified quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001, that the company has been STeP by OEKOTEX® certified since 2017. The aim is the permanent implementation of environmentally friendly production processes, optimal occupational health and safety and socially acceptable working conditions. ROFA achieves the highest level of this certification and is in the area of best practice in local and global comparison. ROFA clearly takes responsibility for people and the environment, because sustainability begins for the company with the promise to deliver the best quality and durable products while conserving valuable resources. Only the best materials are used, modern quality management systems are used and a continuous improvement process is pursued.
